Beyond the Pasta: Recipes, Language & Life with an Italian Family – and it was a grand success! Thomas and Cheryl were thrilled with the turnout at their book store Capitol Book & News, Montgomery, AL. I could not have been more touched by the great number of people who attended – WOW! Last week, the first book signing was at Alabama Booksmith, Birmingham, AL. Jake, the proprietor there, was just as thrilled with his event as well.
Tomorrow I leave to fly north out of the Deep South across the Mason-Dixon Line into “Yankee territory” to do book events in Illinois and Minnesota before flying to Seattle to finally meet my publisher and do a couple of events out there. The book is now learning how to walk on its own and, at times, I feel like it is teaching me how to walk. I just need to remember ~ one step at a time!
My book is starting to get some good press and I thought I would leave you all with a pieve of an interview I did yesterday on WSFA 12, the local NBC affiliate here in Montgomery.
